Album Notes
My music encompasses an enormous amount of styles such as funk, blues, classical, metal, rock, and country, psychedelic & electronic which is why I chose titles like “collage & bouquet”. I have passed out my work for review & “Zappa” is what I have been blessed to hear. Instrumental Zappa-esk is how I describe my work but it is very different I\'m proud to say & yes Zorn & Mr. Bungle and all of those anti-avant-guard types in the progressive world might come close to my aspirations but I hear The Beatles (you know that 70\'s experimental thing) in my actual recording style because of the analog layers. (this I won\'t change, modern recording continues down its flawed path) Yet there are also the simple works; for instance, on my 4th CD, 4th & Nowhere, I have enveloped over 100 movements or stylistic changes, so it is difficult to describe what one will hear from track to track. Listening to part of a track cannot fully relay the extent of what will happen stylistically throughout each track because there are no boundaries as to where I will take the music from each second. Please think of this as you examine the works & remember that this is a home studio of one where I have to push record & run to my drum set in time to start recording. Yeah, its loads of fun! And that is what this is all about! Sure I’d like to sell & gain some notoriety, but hell, I like what I’m doing & you might too if you listen for composition & originality and a few glimpses of complex guitar work set to the beat of art.

I’m a 70’s rock music enthusiast; particularly the progressive and fusion based trailblazers, jazz freak, and moved profoundly by the classical virtuosos. Guitar is my chief instrument and the interplay between melody and originality is my focus while incorporating various styles. Another common element within my CD’s is that I use samples that are warped and refashioned to add an atmospheric semblance which works well with my purely instrumental rhapsodies. Each track might be several ideas fused meticulously utilizing acoustic, electric & classical guitar over any possible backdrop such as electronic, rock, metal, blues, country, funk as well as jazz. I like aggressive musicianship combined with tempered beauty & thought reflecting individuality and a heart felt style and pulse irrefutably recognizable.
