Album Notes
The songs on this album are a mix of old and new, from a traditional chantey collected in the 1800s (South Australia), to a song I wrote last year (Stand Together). "This Dreadful Life I'm Livin'" was the first sea song that I ever learned to lead, and it seems fitting to put it on this first album. I find all of these songs empowering and I love to sing them with my friends, and that's one of my favorite kinds of music to make!
