Album Notes
Kid Pinky's roots are in the blues. Steve Prisby was the leader of The Movers, the band that won the 1996 Blues Talent Competition in Memphis, Tennessee. Looking for an outlet to develop his original ideas, he formed Kid Pinky with musicians from the Concord, NH area. Having the good fortune of knowing three of the most talented, authentic and derelict musicians in the world, together they explored and pushed the blues envelope. Adding new colors to the blues spectrum, the result is Black Voodoo. Take a listen.
