ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Kidz Town Rock is a band that plays fun and educational music for children of all ages. We donate a portion of the proceeds of each CD to benefit children with Autism. Our music is a great resource for both teachers and parents. It has also proven to be an effective tool for school psychologists and social workers to help children learn various social skills. Kids love to sing along, dance and rock out with Kidz Town Rock!
Who’s behind Kidz Town Rock?
Tyler and Vesa Byrnes, husband and wife duo from the Mid-Hudson Valley in upstate New York, have collaborated to create Kidz Town Rock. Tyler and Vesa, musicians and singer songwriters, share an immense desire to reach and teach children through their music. As an educator, Tyler has been working with special needs children for 12 years. In this fun and energetic CD, he has created songs that bring lessons in social skills to life for both typical and special needs children. Vesa has blended her skills in the healing arts and psychology with her musical talents. Having worked with children with special needs, she brings her unique sensitivity and perception to this project.
Wanting to give back to others, they hope to raise funds for autistic children. Teachers, therapists, parents, and most importantly kids, have praised this instructive, joyful and entertaing CD.
Tyler and Vesa hope to establish positive change in the world through the creation of music!

Kidz Town Rock— Kidz Town Rock
(independent)—With the grotesque popularity of the Bratz Dolls, it’s hard not to be suspicious of anything aimed at children that replaces the letter ‘s’ with the letter ‘z’. Yet somehow Kidz Town Rock manages to rise above the choppy foam with an album of educational songs emphasizing social skills. Written and recorded by Tyler and Vesa Byrnes, the associated website features testimonials from social workers, clinical psychologists and experts with the Children’s Annex: a school for students who have autism spectrum disorders... But even with that very serious mission, the music manages to be the sort of fun all sorts of kids can enjoy. In fact I played it for my 7-year old daughter Madeline, and she was hooked. “I like everything about it,” she said. “I’d put it on my iPod.” Positive messages like “I Want to Be a Role Model” and “Say
Thank You” are delivered through raucous rock and roll, the kind one could imagine a room full of children singing and dancing along to. And what more could anyone want from a children’s
album? www.kidztownrock.com
