THANK YOU MUSICIANS:
My overwhelming gratitude Greg Edenfield, for his unbelievable patience in taking these songs from my heart that were in my head for so long and brought them to life in a way that made me laugh and cry at the same time; and to all of the musicians who played on this CD - my deepest love and gratitude.

WHERE DO SONGS COME FROM?

After slicing the artery in my left hand two years ago by falling over my blind dog with a glass in my hand, I didn’t know if I’d ever play guitar again. (Sounds like a country or blues song, huh?) It was yet, another very low time for me, so to play again and record these songs in full living color is something I don’t take for granted. Since having the returned gift of music in my hand, the first song since the accident was about inspiration called “Come To Me,” and can I just say – Thank God, IT came!

All of these songs are an audio-biography, and there are so many people who inspired these songs I wish I could thank, especially my beloved parents of 12 kids: My Dad, Louie, to whom I wrote my first song when he died, my extraordinary Mother, Ella, who died before she could hear this CD, my 16 year old blind dog, Missy Poo Poo Bun, who passed a month after my Mom. I thought about using the name of “Kiki Ow” for a period of time because life just hurts sometimes, but I enjoy finding the WOW in everything far more engaging.

MY DEEP GRATITUDE:

To the Sacred Trinity always guiding, leading and inspiring. To to great musicians who took the time to learn and play on this CD and especially, I wholeheartedly thank YOU, the person reading these credits, for supporting me in taking your time to listen and experience my life’s audio journey. My unending adoration and constant love and thanks to my daughter, Jazmyn, who has been singing with me since we can remember. How did I get my name? Partially, because Wow is Mom upside down. The other part...you'll have to get the book, you won't believe your eyes!

My roots: my special family, who care about me no matter how far away we are: David, Diana, Beth, Chris, Steve and Rosie (in Spirit), Mary, Louie, Danny, Mike and Bob and their beautiful, caring families. I left you and Ohio to pursue my music and I hope that you enjoy this music more than anybody else because you know what and where I came from and what persistence I’ve had musically, even with dashed dreams and whacked transformations. Am I made of rubber or what? What a “WOW” story!

Thanks to my dearest gifts on the earth, my friends: Josh & Sky & Marty, Jess Arias, Eduber & the Bonillas and Rosas, Pati Cohen, Linda Jacobs, Bill & Anne Burleigh, Gigi Afable, Derrick, Kent, Stacie Surabian, CJ Vanston, David Fry, Tom Heilman, Petey Pie, Bruce Miller, Ellie & Frank, MJ, John Longenecker, Lydia Cervera, Jenine Weyrauch, Daley, Ray McGinnis, Kent Huffnagle (thanks for the mics), Mindy Johnson, Dee & Michelle Raptikis, friends at Center for Spiritual Living, the ‘Good People in the Land of Carmel Valley, Mary Monseur, Hair by Holly, Kaelyn, Annette Janofsky, Janni & Layne Littlepage, Cathy Segal Garcia, Sam Johnston, Mary Rodgers, Laurie Johnson, Colleen, Greg & Shelly Thelen, David Parker, Gary Bryant and my baby tiger boy, Cappachino.
