Album Notes
KIm is a young gifted and talented African woman who is advocating on the rights of the girls across the world through Music. This album is called "The Revolution" produced by Lawi and Manyanda . Below is a synopsis of all the songs .
Freedom fighter.
This song is about the people in society who stand up for the rights of others, Full equality, Justice, Mercy. Across borders and nations. Freedom fighters who are effecting changes wherever they go. Let them be encouraged to keep on because that is what every human being is essentially here to do: create a world where we all live at peace with each other.
Psalm 23 and most of the Davidic Psalms come to mind with this song. It is basically saying "look at my haters/enemies trying the hardest to bring me down. They trying to harm me over nothing or things that can be resolved. But i am God's child therefore i am immoveable and unshakeable". It's a declaration song that says God is my shepherd, He leads, directs and protects me. No man should try make you fearful, instead summon up your internal strength and focus, both of which are based confidence in God & know God will never leave nor forsake me.
Fire it up
Love. This song is about being in love with your college sweetheart. See how the common mindset is that college sweethearts can not last beyond college or graduation, they will eventually break up. So this song is for those couples who are still together beyond graduation/college. It's a song to celebrate and encourage them to keep on "firing up" their love and to keep it going. The Journey of love has no shortcuts they will be good and bad times, ups and downs, smiles and frowns, even moments of doubt and regret but it's about holding on to the love between two people and pulling through the times together.
Hustle. Respect people's hustle because you are also part of the hustle whatever form it may be. Its so easy to exchange our bodies to make a living especially when times are hard. But we have to try our best to maintain our character and integrity. Whether you work in the office as a top boss or you work at the market doing your ownn business, at the end of the day, you are both working hard towards something, none is better than the other. So every one of us have to keep striving for greatness regardless of our backgrounds and limitations, we need each other. So lets work together and not mess with each others business. Lets not be swayed by people's opinion or negativity. They don't know where we coming from or where we are going and what its taking to get there.
Old soul
Most of us have been through some form of breakup or heartache at some point in our lives. But then we always meet someone new who will give us hope again. But our past tries to get in the way, we develop trust issues, insecurities and tendencies that get in the way of enjoying the great person in the present. So this song is saying I want you to love me like this is your first time being in love and like you've never been hurt before.
Cherish and value love when you do find it, don't dwell on the past.
Ndauya Ndega
Another Love Song! Except it's a mixture of Shona and Chichewa. It's about having a heart to heart with the person you have feelings for, be it like love or like. You can tell your crush how you feel about them with this song.
Can't get over you
Crush. Infatuation. Love. We all have been there to some degree. When you can't stop thinking about a special someone, even dreaming about them, you spend 80% of your time wondering what they are doing, what they are thinking about, their awesomeness!!You try to fight it but then you reach a point of accepting it. We should enjoy those precious moments of liking someone or being attracted to someone or loving someone, it's part of living.
My people
This song is like a conversation from God to us, He wants intimacy,an actual relationship and interaction with him and not our constant chasing after miracles and instant results. We are living in a generation of Nowadays there are all kinds of gospels going around people taking advantage of the vulnerability of people. People have grown lazy when it comes to God these are the times we are living and. Additionally the people who want instant results and miracles without actually having a relationship with God on your Mercy and number. Good happens to both good and bad people; rain falls on both good and bad people; good things happen whether we pray or not so then what is the real issue then why God why have a relationship with him. Because having a relationship with your creator is a whole new way of living of living the life of experiencing it. From a personal point of view God makes life 3D 4D 5D he basically adds extra Dimensions to generalize he gives purpose he gives Direction he gets protection he provides. There is no need for a middle man who will distort things manipulate and the like we can have a direct relationship with God.
