ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
If you are in a good mood, check out this new music from Kimanthy. Kim Carter, lyricist and lead singer, wanted to write an entire album of songs that, when she listened to them, inspired and uplifted her personally. By teaming up with Anthony Gemignani, a guitar playing Berklee School of Music graduate with more hooks than a tackle box, she was able to make this dream come alive. The combined influences of Kim as lead vocalist(Rickie Lee Jones, Coldplay, Erykah Badu) and Anthony Gemignani as guitarist(Neal Schon from Journey and Rik Emmett from Triumph) aligned with lyrics that consistently intend on bringing you up, culminate in a musical exploration of the soul. They actually like to call this 'marriage' of musical and lyrical styles, "Sap and Soul".
