Album Notes
Kim McAbee...
She's no stranger to country music fans, especially in Bakersfield California where she performs regularly at the Crystal Palace with the World Famous 'Buckaroos'. The shows, which are brodadcast live from the Crystal Palace on the internet and through radio, have introduced her to audiences nationwide. West Coast fans have already fallen in love with her pristine vocals spiced with quick wit and humor. She's graced the pages of Country Weekly Magazine this spring(April 24,2006) exposing her to millions of music fans. Now Kim has broken through the youth dominated country market, proving that style and class, coupled with a well developed talent that can easily compete with the 'teen sensations'. Kim McAbee has substance.
The oldest of four girls, Kim was born in Fresno,Ca. Her family moved to Bakersfield when Kim was only three. Growing up in the heart of the 'Bakersfield Sound' provided Kim with a country music education beyond anything that could be taught or read about...she's lived it and proves it with her first release.
'It's Just A Cup Of Coffee' Kim McAbee's first release from her project, "That's What I'm Talkin' About"(Soigne' Records) opened the 'eyes' of radio programmers to this ladies extraordinary talent. Now, her upcoming single, "Dirt Road Heartache" is poised to carry Kim McAbee to the top of the mountain.
