Album Notes
The idea for the album “Dreaming Up” came from Kim wanting to write and record an eclectic mix of some of her main musical influences. Over some months she experimented with trancy electronica , retro grooves and folky ballads. By working with drum loops, acoustic guitar, synths and various vocal effects she started to find her own unique sound to bring the songs together.

Kim then decided to bring in some other musicians who she knew had wide versatility and true depth to their playing: Joe Creighton, Brett Garsed, Dean O’Leary, Geoff Bridgford and Hans Lovejoy all added their own unique colouration to the songs.

Kim decided to use Michael Letho to mix the album because she knew that from his comprehensive experience in many genres that he could find the common thread in all of the songs and bring them to life into one cohesive sound.
