Album Notes
11 original songs and an Elton John classic. With an extraordinary life of his own, Kim writes and sings from the heart about experiences through his mature eyes. Not stuck to any particular genre, 'Lifetimes' ranges from heart-rending ballads and funky numbers, to straight-up rock anthems. A message in every song. An album of Lifetimes.

Not to be confused with his female, gospel-singing namesake, Kim is a native Australian but has lived most of his life overseas including New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong and his current home in Singapore.

He got his musical start at age 9 when he was selected for the Australian Boy’s Choir. He became Leader of the choir and held that responsibility until his voice broke. He paid hihs way through college by performing in a rock band.

In December 2004 when he heard the news of the devastating Asian tsunami, Kim felt compelled to act. He become one of the first wave of volunteers to reach the devastated shores of Aceh, Indonesia. The shock of human drama he witnessed reawakened his musical talent.

His adventure travels have taken him across USA, Japan, Africa and Europe. He has trekked the upper reaches of the Himalayas 5 times and throughout Patagonia in Argentina and Chile. He’s a qualified scuba diver, white-water canoeist, and once held a license to fly gliders.
He is equally comfortable in remote villages as in the boardrooms of New York and London.

In the past 3 years, without the pressure of recording contracts, Kim has crystallised a kaleidoscope of life's emotions, experiences and observations into his second album.; Lifetimes.
