Kim has been writing songs for 25 years. She has had several cuts on Independent albums, many songwriting awards, placements in film and TV, penned a song for the movie “Acceptance” which has been accepted into many film festivals in the NY city area and more. Kim finished up her 4th album Rise in 2017 which has been her most diverse body of songs ever. Accompanying Rise was a music video called "Second Wind" released to help destigamatize mental health issues. She also got to work with Nashville’s best musicians and background vocalists in the industry to produce her third album Joy for its July 2014 release. Here current 2019 single release "The Ledge" is in support of suicide prevention. She wrote it during a dark time and is promoting to humanity to reach out and get help and never do the darkness alone. The accompanying lyric video of the Ledge is also being released on Youtube and is a very emotional moving video and being sponsored by the afsp.org. While Kim raises her two teenage boys, performs in two bands, has two part time day jobs, she also writes for film/TV regularly and is attending Berklee College of Music to complete a Bachelors degree. Kim feels most alive when writing, singing and being with other creatives. Life is beautiful and imperfect and she is rolling on with it.
