ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Kinda Kids is a band from Boise Idaho that is made up of Tess Eidson, Salma Schwartzman, Sammi Eckersell, and Edie Johnson. We are all in high school and got our start in the middle school ensembles directed by a music teacher, playing various instruments and styles of music, once we reached high school, we decided we wanted to form a real band! We first tried out playing folk music, and once we decided it wasn’t for us, we moved onto rock, we learned pretty much all covers until for a school project Edie wrote songs to produce and record herself with the rest of the band. This made us want to pursue writing original music and playing more venues around Boise. Kinda Kids debut performance was opening for the sold out Bonny Doon and Snail Mail show, this only furthered our interest in playing gigs outside of school. We are all very appreciative of the welcoming environment of the Boise music scene and it has encouraged us to become better musicians and be more confident on and off stage.
