Album Notes
Lenny 'Kingdom Soldier' Deneb is a singer-songwriter, producer and a believer in Christ who has been described by the British music press as exciting and intelligent in his writing.

A liking for the reggae genre, this artist writes and sings thought provoking songs. His critically-acclaimed album ‘Solidarity’ includes such songs as ‘Pirates’, ‘The Begging Game’, ‘Families at War’, ‘U Can’t Run Nor Hide’ and others. The lyrics of which comes at you with the velocity of an arrow shot from a bow. “Lenny Deneb's CD "Solidarity" offers a very strong reggae vibe and the grooves on this album are guaranteed to satisfy. Deneb brings a smooth and pleasant vocal style to the table with this album, and I was sold right away by his performance on track 2, "Families At War, which speaks to life, family, and modern times......He is a very gifted artist and the passion of his music comes through smoothly and solidly in the lyrics. Truthful messages are woven with precision into every verse" Charles A. Smith, The Entertainment Bank.

His songs are the result of experiences based on his work with young people and families in crisis in the field of social science, counselling and the justice system. Having witnessed how some young people struggle with life issues such as drugs, crime, low self-esteem, religion and purpose; then it is not surprising that his songs tell stories of social upheaval, injustice and lost dreams

Although predominantly he writes for himself, he has written for other artists namely Judy Boucher 'Standing in the rain'. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Eastern Caribbean Collective Organization (ECCO) in St. Lucia and as a manager has contributed to the development of several young St. Lucian artists, and his daughter Lateefah, a neo-soul gospel artist.

A believer for nearly 20 years, Lenny’s focus is to give glory and honour to God and to use his gift of music to reach the lost for God’s Kingdom. Ultimately the messages in his songs are that, in all the chaos be still and know that He is God and if you give Him control, He will help you find peace and purpose in life.
