ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
1. Highway 40 Blues
A favorite Donnie Faulkner covers, by Larry Cordle.

2. Walk On Boy
Made famous by Doc Watson. Roger Hart on lead vocal and Harmonica. Nancy Lisi guitar.

3. Glory Land
Robert sings this far differently from the traditional version, while Rob Waller shows off his Travis style fingerpicking guitar.

4. Peacock Rag
Cap’n John Ace performs this playful fiddle tune.

5. Love Please Come Home
Donnie Faulkner sings this traditional song.
Recorded live in DC.

6. Fire On The Mountain
Donnie Faulkner covers this tune about gold mining.

7. Falling Leaves
A heartfelt Grandpa Jones song, done with the renowned bluegrass man Keith Arneson singing tenor and playing banjo.

8. Four Horsemen
Penned by banjoist Rob Waller. Titled because of the 4 chords in the bridge, switching back and forth from major to minor- thus, the “Four Horsemen.” Arthur Lisi on piano.

9. Dixie Pig
A famous restaurant on Route One. We wrote this song quite a few years ago and it has caught on. We added
Cap’n John Ace’s fiddle.

10. Red Haired Boy
One of Roger Hart’s instrumental showpieces, accompanied by Rob Waller’s melodic banjo. An old Irish fife and drum song.

11. Lookin’ Back
Composed by Nancy Lisi. About her trip back to Carmichaels, Pennsylvania coal country.

12. United We Shall Stand
Donnie wrote this song about his experience on 9-11.

13. Rusty All the Time
Donnie was feeling humorous when he wrote this one!
Captain John Ace sings the duet with him.

14. Dream of a Miners’ Child
Robert Swain Lead Vocals & Banjo. We included this older song, recorded a few years before his stroke. Stacey Sinclair on fiddle and Dave Brunson singing baritone.

Recorded and produced by:
Arthur Lisi AAA Music
Mastered by:
Ben Green Ivakota Studios
In honor of Robert Swain’s journey of stroke recovery.
