ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
999,999 Girls! EP:
Kiss the Girl shines like the California sun with a new stripped-down rock sound that has a retro 60's-70's vibe while still remaining "fresh and unabashedly sexy" (San Francisco Chronicle). These four exuberant, upbeat new songs are full of truly unforgettable hooks and guitar riffs backed by straightforward rock beats.

"Good Thing" was used on the trailer for the major movie release 'Year One' and the TV show '90210'. Kiss the Girl's music has been featured on many other prime-time television shows including Dirt, Charmed and Ugly Betty, as well as on commercials and other film trailers.

Their songs have received radio airplay internationally and were played over 50,000 times on internet radio over a period of 3 months in the last year (according to BMI).

The Songs:
999,999 Girls
"999,999 Girls!" could be the theme song for an updated Go-Go club or beach party movie. This bombastic anthem celebrates the existence of female kind with its pounding drums, hooky chorus and equally hooky guitar riff. Underlying the jubilant fun is the story of a broken-hearted boy who overcomes the loss of his "one in a million" girl with an exciting realization.

Good Thing
A groovy, smooth, retro feel-good pop rock song full of California sunshine, "Good Thing" tells a hopeful story about trusting things to take their natural course and work out for the best by killing fear and doubt and letting love take control. Featuring catchy harmonies, a groove that will make you move, and a handclap breakdown and outro that will make you feel like you're part of the party, "Good Thing" can provide an emotional push to help you through your day. It can currently be heard on the trailer for the major movie release 'Year One'.

She Likes Girls
A sassy Brit-Rock flavored song that tells the story of a boy who falls for a girl who doesn't even know she's fallen for…you'll find out when you hear the catchy refrain.

Brother Sister Freedom
In "Brother Sister Freedom", Kiss the Girl creates a dangerous-sounding, cinematic, heavy rock sound to convey an urgent message. Featuring a sexy, bluesy vocal verse, shout-out chorus, orchestral strings and a retro spy movie guitar riff.

The Men:
Kiss the Girl is comprised of two California artists - Robert Szeles (pronounced saylesh) and Jaimeson Durr. As a team, Szeles & Durr wear complementary hats - Szeles is the singer/songwriter/producer while Durr is the engineering wizard behind the recordings, as well as an accomplished lead guitarist. Andy Korn has added his considerable drumming talents to their latest tracks.
