Album Notes
This live CD and DVD includes songs from two earlier recordings by Dan Klarskov, as well as some new stuff.

The music has its roots in swing, jump and blues traditions,
providing a festive mood, danceable grooves and fast/slow boogies with passion and energy at the highest musical level.

Denmark has got a new bluesman
of genuine quality and authencity.
- Erik Jensen, Politiken.

You play with very good taste,
lots of confidence, and very good
attention to tone and dynamics.
- Bruce Iglauer, Alligator records.

Your band is very good! Great groove,
good ensemble players and soloists.
I was pleasantly surprised and look forward
to hearing more from you and your fine band!
- Duke Robillard, World Class guitar player and producer.

Dan manages to squeeze every last
bit of feeling out of the notes he plays.
- Dave Thomas, Blues On Stage.

Danish guitarist Dan plays with wonderful tone
and admirable restraint, very much in the vein
of his obvious hero T-Bone Walker.
If you enjoy European Blues, this is most certainly
one to get.
- Norman Darwen, Blues Matters England.

Recorded live February 18.2006 at
Jazzhus Dexter. Odense, Denmark.
