Album Notes
Here are poetic songs and instrumentals that provide food for the soul. Ingredients include spirit and bone, mind and body, myth and mystery.

Latent musical urges collided in the 1990s with a live Michael Hedges concert and the encouragement of local singer-songwriter friends, and John Klingler's love of guitar and song became re-awakened. As he explored his instruments with a new fascination, these unusual compositions emerged.

After spending most of his formative years in New Mexico, John now lives and performs in North Carolina.

John's guitar playing and vocals is a meditation that quiets the mind.
Like all things spiritual, Record of a Moment is both beautifully simple and yet deeply profound. This CD features John Klinger on the harp guitar, and his playing and vocals is a meditation that quiets the mind. A great CD.
