ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
All songs on this album are a tribute to the late George Ramogi. George is believed to have been the real force behind “benga” as a genre. Tom Kodiyo, having played with Ramogi for years, was the “right” man for this special project. The songs included here were especially picked by Equator Heritage Sounds to preserve the beautiful style and memory of Ramogi’s era. You are certain to enjoy the music.
