Album Notes
In addition to frequently busking at Southern California's Laguna Main Beach and San Clemente Pier, Kole travels to Hawaii often with wife Kathy to visit family on Maui and Oahu, with excursions to Kauai. These magical environments provide much of the inspiration for his original music. Strummed and picked ukulele and guitar, exotic percussive beats and feel-good melodies are immediately reminiscent of the Beach Boys, Jimmy Buffett and Chris Isaak, mixed together with Hawaiian Pop and Pacific-style reggae.

As an independent artist, Kole tracks and produces his original music in his home studio.

One reviewer on Amazon.com said this about Kole's first EP:

"Kole Dunn does it again bringing his brand of California Kool to the music table. This EP is tropical and fresh. Can You Feel It, has a perfect 80's Beach Boys feel captured reminiscent of Kokomo. The track, Hana Rain, has a sound that I imagine I would hear in a rainforest somewhere. The French coined, Je t'aime bien, has nice organic harmonies and a great bossa feel to it. My personal favorite on the EP however is, Girl I've Got A Thing For You. This song is a throwback in the sense that it has a kind of mid-80s pop feel to it that made me think of when Billy Ocean and Paul Young reigned the airwaves. Check out Kole Dunn's, Out Of The Blue. You'll be glad you did."
