ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
It all started in a stink bug-infested attic in Point Breeze. That's Pittsburgh, PA.

Eric Luden arrived packing a rucksack full of lyrics and a Stratocaster. Drummer Jay Salmon brought West
Coast punk rock chops and knack for a catchy arrangement. Next came band virgin Nell “Fuzzy G” Gladson,
filling out the rhythm section on bass.

After playing a few gigs as The Buscemis, the group sensed that something was missing. That something turned
out to be lead guitarist and PhD of sound John Neumann. Now, the groove was just right and Kontrol Cow was
born.

Recording was fast and furious--and so is "twenty-two". An album full of mood swings from punky pop to
grungy rock and everywhere in between. Luden's bitingly cynical lyrics float above Salmon's relentlessly
aggressive drum beats and Neumann's deliciously complex guitar riffs. Fuzzy G holds an agile bass line to bring
it all down to Earth.

After just one listen, you'll be a member of the Kontrol Cow Kollective.
