Album Notes
Hailing from San Francisco, the four piece, multi-instrumental group Kooken & Hoomen seamlessly combines electronic dance grooves with live instrumentation.

Drum'n'bass, house, dub, jungle, rock, trip hop, disco, and jazz are all rolled into one polyrhythmic, polymorphous, and playful musical performance.

Kooken & Hoomen integrates loops, samples, drums, rhodes, percussion, guitar, sitar, and various synthesizers to produce intricately layered music inspired by such artists as Squarepusher, Amon Tobin, Air, and Tortoise.

I want to listen to every piece of music these guys have done! I've played guitar for 13 years, and I am very impressed with the band's creativity and skill level. And being an artist myself, I LOVE the album design (as well as the K&H website), it is reminiscent of Miro. Who did it?
