Album Notes
Korey Brodsky, a member of the 2013 IBMA (International Bluegrass Music Association) Youth All-Star Band and featured artist in Flatpicking Magazine volume 20 number 4, is releasing his first album. This is mainly an instrumental guitar album with two vocal tracks both sung by legendary folk artist Jonathan Edwards. Korey is joined by Jesse Brock, Ron Cody, Kalia Yeagle, Sofia Chiarandini, Mike Sassano, and his father Rick Brodsky. Included are four of Korey's original instrumental tunes that feature both his guitar and mandolin playing.

"Korey is a fantastic young picker, well on his way to becoming one of the distinctive voices of his generation in bluegrass. He knows the tradition, yet sounds like himself; he's got plenty of chops but you never feel like he's showing off - he's already a mature player with a remarkable sensitivity to his musical surroundings. We can expect big things to come" - Michael Daves

"I first met Korey at a small jam at a festival in CT, and I was impressed with him. Impressed with his playing and his obvious desire to play music, but also by him as a person. His parents must be proud of such a good young man. I enjoyed playing with Korey that day, and anytime we have the opportunity. A rare talent and an asset to mankind. This recording will reveal his musicianship, and meeting Korey will impress you too!” - Jim Hurst
