Interesting collection of Easy Listening African music
This album is a re-mastered version of the 1996 release "African Moments," by Kowa and includes 3 brand new tracks. The collection of songs, most in the easy-listening style, is inspired by the culture and nature of sub-Saharan Africa. "Asumebele" starts off like any mellow, contemporary-adult song, but soon evolves into something more as a chorus of male African singers joins the melody. "Africa" is an interesting and esoteric song in which we hear African instruments used in a quasi-psychedelic manner. "Zulu Dance" is a mid-tempo song in which we hear an interesting interplay between a steady beat and a flittering African style flute. This album is perfect for those who enjoy a good easy listening experience. It is also for those who would be interested in hearing an album inspired by the sights and sounds of Africa without being over-bearing of "worldly" music.

A Musical Journey
Put on your headphones and crank it up and won't be long until you feel like you are on the plains of Africa. African Moments
is filled with catchy grooves and beautiful melodies. Win Kowa's blazing guitar work is also heavily featured (Zulu Dance is
just an example) and Jennifer Kowa's stellar bass playing and occassional vocals make this cd a must have for those who
like their New Age/Electronic music with a nice dose of Rock.
