ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
After 3 years in the mind and a year in the making, Andrea Koziol has released her fourth solo recording "Songs". A collection of poetic musings wrapped in tightly knit music, it tells poignant stories of greetings and goodbyes. “Songs” is underlined by Koziol’s conscious desire to make things better from the ground up, and her trademark nod to the power of joy. It is played by a cast of old friends and superstar musicians including Kevin Breit, Justin Abedin, Ian DeSousa, Ron Lopata and Gary Craig. Critics are calling “Songs” Koziol’s finest and most soulful work yet.

In the last seven years Andrea Koziol has produced three acclaimed solo records, tirelessly toured the Canadian folk festival circuit, and brought two beautiful children into the world. Critics and fans have raved about this restless singer songwriter’s engaging work and eagerly awaited the next installment to her catalogue.
