Album Notes
“Meditation and Visualization for Relaxation and Inner Peace,” is based on a popular series of classes that I've been teaching over the past few years called, "Connecting with the Still Small Voice Within."

In these classes our intention is to relax and to connect with our inner Spirit. The Spirit within us is our source of peace, love, happiness, compassion, and creativity. When all of these qualities flow outward from us, our environment will shift to reflect what we are living on the inside. When enough of us are connected with the Spirit of good within us, I believe, our global environment will shift to reflect these beautiful qualities.

First however, we must begin with ourselves, “We must be the change we want to see in the world,” so says the great sage Gandhi. Perhaps “the world” you’d like to see changed right now is your body, marriage, home, or office. These meditation practices are going to meet you, right where you are in consciousness, in this moment. If practiced regularly, they will help you to be the peace you want to see in your world.

There are a lot of good guided meditation CD's on the market right now, but what is revolutionary about this CD is that it incorporates a process where you will be guided into a deep state of relaxation, then there will be a period of about three minutes where you won't hear my voice, rather your meditation will be guided by your breath and supported by the music. This is you're opportunity to connect with the Spirit (your source of inner peace) within you. Of course your attention is going to wander, but you will be gently guided back to the present moment. This period of stillness will also strengthen your ability to stay focused and present.
