ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The original songs on my debut album, Key to My Freedom, were written during a time of trials that turned to triumphs, thanks to the grace of God. “Concealed Away” is a Rock song that tells of how I was feeling trapped, until I turned to God. The title song “Key to My Freedom” is about how Jesus opened my eyes and I unlocked the door to my heart where he lives forever. “Purify Me” is my musical prayer asking God to cleanse my heart of all of it’s impurities. “Tears of Blood” tells about the greatest sacrifice Jesus made, just to show you and me how much He loves us. “Here I Am” is an offering of my life as a Servant of God. “Obsession” is another Rock song that was written for Jesus, but it can be interpreted to anyone you love. These songs were all written after my father’s death in 2009. “Free” is a tribute to his new life without pain, in Heaven with Jesus. A few months after I lost my father, my boyfriend and I broke up. “The Beginning” tells of how my father and my boyfriend are no longer physically in my life, but with God's help I am starting a new life. This album was written to the Glory of God and in memory of my father, Fred Robert Koenig. I call this album my journey from trial to triumph! I hope you enjoy it!
