This recording is a journey of love through the many different styles & musical colors that have influenced Kevin’s long (35+ years!) and varied career. From classic R&B to funk, blues to jazz, country to rock & roll, the passion, joys, and pain of love are reflected in the 7 original & 3 cover tunes selected for this work.

Originally from Long Island, NY, Kevin moved to Bethlehem, PA in 1982, where he established a full-time musical career performing with various show, variety, country, and jazz bands-including 9 years with the successful regional show/Top 40 band "KIK", in venues from the resorts of the Pocono Mountains to the Jersey Shore. Kevin moved to Naples, FL in 1992, establishing a reputation as a reliable and competent sideman and frontline performer throughout Southwest Florida. In 1995, Kevin relocated to Massachusetts, where he continues to pursue his musical interests as a bassist, vocalist, and saxophonist with a wide variety of music ensembles, including a show band backing up celebrity impersonators. Over the years, Kevin has had the privilege to share the stage with, open for, or perform for such notable personalities as Burt Bacharach, Frank Foster, Bill Watrous, Tom Scott, Bill Cosby, Michael McDonald, Bernie Chiaravalle, Bob James, Nathan East, Harvey Mason, Neil Stubenhaus, Sergio Bellotti, Robben & Anne Ford, Charlie Daniels, Aztec Two-Step, Jett Williams, Peter Marsh, David Pringle, Rex Long, and many others. In addition to his musical pursuits, Kevin has established himself as a talent in the Voice Over industry. He has at least 8 audiobooks to his credit, along with numerous Music-On-Hold tracks, commercials, voice-prompt systems and volunteer studio text reading for the visually impaired.
Kevin currently lives in Northeastern Massachusetts-with his loving partner Donna!

This record is the result of the collective input of time, passion, top-notch musicianship & artistry-and most of all, the friendship of the following artists (listed alphabetically):

Sergio Bellotti-drums, percussion
Tony Gallo-harmonica
Steven Higgs-keyboards
A. Peter Marsh-keyboards
Jim Meyer-guitars
David Pringle-keyboards
Bela Sarkozy-guitars
Sherelle Cary Smith-vocals (“Losin’ End)
John Strangis-drums
Frank Wilkins-keyboards
Keith Yaun-guitars

Kevin T Norris-basses, vocals, saxophones, rhythm guitar, percussion

The final mixdown & mastering of this project was done by the brilliant & multi-talented Jim McGee in his newly-designed mastering suite at Spectrasound Solutions in Nazareth, PA (home of Martin Guitars).

The graphics for this project were put together by the beautiful & talented Karen Packard at Wales Copy Center, Lexington, MA.

Finally, I’d like to express my humblest gratitude and appreciation to Michael McDonald & Bobby Caldwell, whose unseen mentorship to me, and contributions to our industry, cannot be overstated.

It's in my Van, and I listen to it all the time.

"Donna" is always my fav.
The Valentine one is "velvet!" man!

The one with that female vocalist kicks ass. I really liked that 80's style R&B vibe. Guitar sounds right out of the Steve Lukather library.

The CD sounds wonderful! I love the cover-great choice! Losin' End sounds wonderful-the mix is very well done!
