ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes

These songs are a culmination of my personal journey over the last two years. The title track "Fly On" is a song about leaving all that is familiar behind as I step into a new chapter in my life. Your purchase of these songs will be supporting me as I begin my studies at EARTH University where I will be learning the skills to help build a more sustainable future.

Michael Surprenant at Mana Studios did an incredible job, mixing, mastering, drumming and audio engineering these three songs:

-Fly On (Michael Surprenant: Drums, Pat Eskildsen: Guitar, Matt Spencer: Bass, Sarah Bethany: Backing vocals, Adele Wynn: violin)

-Set the Brakes (Michael Surprenant: Drums, Pat Eskildsen: Guitar, Matt Spencer: Bass, Sarah Bethany: Synth)

-Turn Your Head Around (Michael Surprenant: Drums, Pat Eskildsen: Guitar, Matt Spencer: Bass, Sarah Bethany: Backing vocals)

Included on this special edition is a bonus acoustic track, "Burn It Down", which I wrote when it became evident we were in danger of losing my childhood home to the 2018 Kilauea lava flow. This song is a tribute to Pele (Hawaii's volcano goddess) and all proceeds for this track will be donated to lava relief in our devastated Puna community.

Many thanks to Michael Surprenant at Mana Music Studios for recording and mastering this acoustic track.

Thanks to everyone who was involved in bringing these songs to life!
