Album Notes
KUSH layers its musical compositions using DJ sensibilities, samples, loops with the consciousness of live jazz -oriented improvising and instrumentation.

David Shearer

the best free form innovative new sound to hit
After listening to all the offerings by Kush, it was nothing to compare to seeing these boys live. They are seasoned players that read each other like a books. They seem to follow no set style, just flow in a free-form fusion, that stimulates all the senses. Their varied eclectic stylings are something to behold, as they work the crowd to definite levels of frenzy, ... if you have not heard them, you will. They command attention, David Shearer

Streams of Consciousness Vol.1 is a continuous flow of brilliant nu jazz and downtempo. Ideal for any relaxed cosmopolitan setting.

More jazz than electronica, but good stuff.
Perhaps a bit more Jazzy than I expected from the info listed on the website, but still a good collection of tunes for those interested in adding a sort of smooth jazz cd to their music collection. Hints of electronica lace an otherwise jazz-oriented album featuring loads of solid, well performed instrumentals.
