Album Notes
Kutandara is a professional world music ensemble playing traditional and contemporary music from Zimbabwe and original compositions inspired by music from southern Africa. Kutandara means to come together and have a good time, which is the group’s purpose as they exchange energy of music and movement with their audiences.

Recorded live by Lenny Karpel at Kutandara Center and The Dairy Center for the Arts in Boulder, Colorado. Edited, mixed, and mastered by Lenny Karpel and Randy McIntosh in Lyons, Colorado. Current members include Melissa Crocker, Alex Eherenman, Kurt Eherenman, Mike Ely, Corey Kirschner, Randy McIntosh, Brechen Santeramo, David Simon, Amy Stewart and Roberta Walbert. Kutandara has performed at the Boulder and Aggie Theaters, Boulder Creek Festival, Colorado Performing Arts Festival, and many other festivals and concert series around the world.
