ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"The seemingly ageless king of hook-infested, sweet, memorable melodies returns with his long-awaited newest CD, featuring 11 tracks of polished pure pop that come December, might very well turn out to have been the best pop CD released this year. Somehow Vincent has found a way to take a large dose of 1972 and make it sound fresher than a 2009 summer day. The production is crystal clear, warm, bright, and sassy on top, with a strong live rhythm section providing the bed. Vincent toots his own horn (an alto sax) on most of the tracks, and makes you wonder why he didn't also pursue a jazz career. The lead vocals rival any male vocalist currently enjoying success at mainstream radio.
(4 stars)"
