Album Notes
The Hollywood Reporter has called Stephanie Bennett "one of our country's top harpists". She has concertized in Europe, Japan, Australia, and the United States, meanwhile also playing at hundreds of weddings (including for celebrities, and non-celebrities with great taste in music!) On this recording, she performs her arrangements of the most requested classical music for weddings, including the beloved traditional selections as well as some fresh, out-of-the-box choices.

Clair de Lune, one of Debussy's Impressionist masterpieces, is lovely as part of the prelude, as guests are being seated.

True Love's Vow, Stephanie's original composition, is a love theme from an imaginary movie: inspiring and achingly romantic.

Romanze from Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, by Mozart, is a favorite for an 'honor seating' of the parents before the ceremony. It is also lovely as prelude, or for the entrance of the bridal party.

Pachelbel's Canon in D is wonderful for the entrance of the bridal party - serene, graceful, and uplifting; building in an inspiring crescendo to lead into the entrance of the bride.

Bridal Chorus from Lohengrin by Wagner (better known as "Here Comes the Bride") is the music that generations of brides have dreamed of hearing as they walk down the aisle.

Wedding March from a Midsummer Night's Dream, by Mendelssohn, is the familiar "Recessional" music signaling the end of the ceremony, as the happy bride and groom are pronounced husband and wife and turn to accept the applause of their guests.

Alla Hornpipe from the Water Music, by Handel, is another upbeat and joyous selection, which may be substituted for the traditional Recessional, or is also a wonderful postlude, to be played right after the Recessional.
