Album Notes
LaFrae Sci is a composer and multi- instrumentalist who creates music with intention. Her work has been featured in film, radio, and television as well as theatrical comissions. The majority of her career has been live performances. This is her solo debut.

Electriptych is a mostly moog and Make Noise synthesizer driven 3 part journey inspired by the work of the self - taught African American astronomer/scientist, Benjamin Banneker who theorized about other galaxies in the 1800s, and was the first to log and observe the 17 year cycle of the cicada.

An afro - futurist daughter of Drexciya rooted in the African American tradition of Spirituals, blues and jazz, LaFrae writes for large ensembles and creates experimental modular synth sound journeys that seem to aim towards the heavens, but are meant to bring one to one's self.

LaFrae is the founder of the NYC based Groove Diplomacy Inc. whose mission is to create empowerment through music collaborations internationally. "A groove makes you move, movement creates unity, community, and change!"
