Album Notes
Laila Hansen is a country girl from Eydehavn east of Arendal. Grew up with singing and music, and a father who played on most instrumenter. At the age of 10 she performed publicly at a Red Cross event at home. Later in youth she performed a bit with the Sørlands troubadour named Knutta, she also ran actively athletics in adolescence which took most of her time. She came back to music in adulthood, and it was especially country music that was closest to her heart. In it she found many genres from pop, rock, jazz and traditional. She waited a long time and was modest to release a record, but finally released her debut cd "Never Again" in 2003 at the instigation of friends and acquaintances. She did not really have any plans with it, but it turned out that it would be well received by the crowd.
