When you listen to this music you can get carried away
Looking over this new album Sensations I discovered similar themes throughout. Many of the tracks such as Sensations present soft feelings and beautiful melodies. A Message To A Mother presented a calm and collected atmosphere which almost had charm and elegance to it. Slow and peaceful with a great array of instrumentation. As I moved on to Alone With You I could feel the love and romance dripping from the instruments playing happily together. To My Country Iraq is powerful piece and considering the eventful past of Iraq this is a fitting tribute. It truly does stand strong providing plenty of warmth and character with a touch of dramatics. As I moved on to a track that was a dedication To Giovanni Marradi I learnt of Laith’s inspiration and it rubbed off on me. The music, the notes play on your mind dancing and skipping around. Full of feeling and sweetness the keys are very reflective of nature and peace. Next came another romantic song by the name of You Are My Sweetheart. Much of the albums themes remain present but he adds a touch of electronic notation in the background to change the mood a little and add an extra vibe. You can imagine a romantic meal happening by the sea and ocean breeze. So finally I move on to the last song Describing You which is a fitting song to end the album with. It has that lazy feeling to it, something you can relax to and kick back. Something you can almost imaging in a lounge environment. Truly magnificent.

wonderful
This album, Sensations, is so heartwarming that I find difficult to criticize it! I am in fact completely enchanted by it! There's something special in Laith al-Baiyaa's playing that I don't hear in any other musician. His playing is soft, unique and delicate! Everytime I listen to it, I feel like I were in a live performance! Not to mention that, his music is as sweet, at times melanchonic, and extremely varied as Chopin and Liszt one. I love each track of Sensations but if I had to choose my favourite ones, I would say: "Describing you" and "To Giovanni Marradi" because they make me dream and relax!!

An album to relax with.
"Sensations" features gorgeous ambient instrumentals that allows listeners to let go of any stress or tension. I like to put this on while taking a warm bubble bath or relaxing by the fireplace. Laith Al-Baiyaa takes a mature, sensual approach to this album, while still keeping it as sexy as his previous releases "Laith Romance" and "Reflections of Love." Creates a cozy environment to allow listeners to unwind at the end of the day.
