ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Lana Maree has been a singer/songwriter touring mainly in the Midwest United States for the last 5 years. She has been involved in music and singing since a very early age. Her music has been described as a mix between Sheryl Crow and Norah Jones, Joni Mitchell and Allison Krause. In Moonbeams and Stardust, her first album she has carefully chosen 8 songs to highlight her songwriting career spanning the last 15 years, two songs dedicated to her children titled Miranda's Song and Duncan's Song respectfully, and written when they were very young. Her songs are lyrical, poignant and moving. Her voice is beautiful and captivating. Her lyrics are thoughtful, deep and poetic. The album has a strong acoustic feel including artists Cindy Novelo on viola, Scott Tichenor on mandolin, Bill Crahan on guitar, and Jim Barnes as vocal back-up and many others.
