This is a multi-genre album but mostly rooted in jazz, funk, and classical music. All songs are either cover songs or Hymns that I arranged for a traditional jazz band and vocals. It was recorded, mixed, and mastered over a very special two week period.

Album Notes
Lance Loiselle, AKA Laelo, is a professional pianist, jazz sousaphonist, composer, producer, conductor educator, and director in Chciago. His music is mostly jazz and live music but has taken on some really amazing turns over the years crossing over into more contemporary styles like funk, hip hop, RnB, avante gard, rock, and fusion. Loiselle is graduate of DePaul University where he earned a Master of Arts in Jazz Studies under Larry Novak and is currently t owns his own record label and commercial music business, an accomplished pianist, both classical and jazz, a singer, as well as a jazz sousaphonist. He is a composer, an urban music producer, and recording engineer.

Lance has played with many artists throughout the years including touring with Speech from Arrested Development in Japan, KRS-1, MC Lyte, Black Thought, Doug E. Fresh, The Brand Nubians, 2Face, Herbie Hancock, Chaka Khan, Joshua Redmond, as well as performing all over the world including, Italy, Japan, China, The Philippines, Canada, and all over the United States. He currently works as a sideman with The Jordan Years, Mike Gallagher and Higher Order, The Lowdown Brass Band, Liquidated Damages, and plays a weekly jazz gig at Sullivan’s Steakhouse on Tuesdays.

His commercial placements include Toyota, McDonalds, WB Network, Heinaken, The Baby Makers (Movie), Lincoln Heights, Oprah, MTV, and several fashion shows. He is a composer and engineer working on projects with Roy Ayers, Raekown of Wu Tang, Walt Cunningham of Dartmouth College, Rhymefest, an audio book by Toriano Sanzone’s called “The Wolfkeepers Guide to Training a Dog”, and several albums with the Lowdown Brass Band, The Jordan Years, and Treologic.
