The Aleatoric Effect is a Jam-Band based in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. and performs throughout the South Florida area and is available for your next party or event. We can perform as a four-piece band or even as a duo and we play many styles. To describe the music I will say that the name Aleatoric Effect refers to the spontaneous creation and inspiration that comes in a song or piece of music when improvisational spirit is allowed to manifest-. In other words, Songs are not written in stone. We have certain chord progressions and themes, however we leave the music open to the moment to allow spontaneous combustion of ideas, motifs,jams, adventures, and sonic explorations. We mostly play Funk, Rock, ,Blues,Jazz, Latin,Reggae,World music and we mix it all together with a "Jamband" sensitivity. All in all, Lancelot and the Dreamweaversare intent on creating a festive,party atmosphere and in playing authentic musical styles in a live setting.
