Album Notes
"Here are songs with lovely melodies and lyrics with a fresh and sometimes funny, sometimes sad take on modern relationships. You'll be charmed!"
- Monica Dare, Longtime fan of LOD

“IN” is the latest album from The Land of Deborah, a local favorite on the Vancouver music scene. “IN” is addictive without seeming to be. It’s an album that expertly combines the most unusual of artistic bedfellows; introspection, and fun. It’s easy listening, but loaded with infectious hooks and personal, meaningful lyrics that come from a very real place. It’s a collection that rips at your heart, and then lifts it to a very happy place. The album is expertly crafted with an easy flow of personal ballads, easy-on-the-ear down tempo instrumentals, and catchy, happy tunes. There’s something for everyone on this album, and before you know it, everyone around you will be listening “IN”.

An album that deserves global recognition!
Every year, one musician leaves me almost speechless. In 2012, the winner is The Land of Deborah .

"In" is a refreshing album featuring a wide array of tunes, each more beautiful than the next. Deborah’s multi-layered voice is mesmerizing, especially on “Love Karma,” “Taken” and “I Don’t Mind.”

Whether you have to spend a rainy day at home or need a musical companion for your evenings or walks, this album will fit any kind of mood.

In a nutshell, give it a listen, and you will see!

A heartfelt gentle tapestry of songs
"In" by The Land of Deborah is a very pleasing listen. It can simply help set a relaxing mood as you enjoy your morning coffee or lounge on the sofa on a rainy day, or you can dig deeper at any time and be rewarded with some thoughtful lyrics and soulful expressions of love, longing and the yearning people feel when they're trying to better understand each other and themselves. Deborah has a lovely voice and evocative phrasing, and the quality of the recording is very good. I can comfortably recommend that you give it a whirl.
