ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Eddie Landsberg rode up numerous North American Jazz charts with his debut CD "Remembering Eddie Jefferson" featuring Downbeat Poll nominee Giacomo Gates, Blue Note recording legends James Spaulding and Ben Dixon and guitar lion Randy Johnston.

Now he returns in a funky, groovy and swinging mode on a session recorded during his two month tour of Europe. - - "The Little Groove Maker" received his first organ lessons from Shirley Scott, a protege of Big John Patton, a former bandleader at Philadelphia's Col. Charles Young Post, author of several Jazz improv books and a video, and now a Tokyo resident... he's back with a vegence on an album that includes a wide array of organ grooves to make you dance and pat your feet too !

I love this organ CD, its exciting and grooves.
This is a grooving, swinging, CD which is a must have for any organ lover, theres such a variety of styles, and its fun and never gets boring, Spiderman is one of my favorites. Good players, good times, this is like the old days in the chitlin circit! Lonnie Gasperini

Fantastic Chunky Organ Jazz
This has exactly the feel and the style you want from a good organ jazz album. It's a real swinger!

I hate sax and wish it wasn't there, hence the 4 rating, but that is totally personal preference and should not sway you from getting this excellent album.

Swinging, grooving, everything
Very cool CD, cool jazzy rhythms, makes me very happy to get up in the morning. Maybe a little too much Hammond, but hey, that's what the CD and the artist is about, so get over it. The sax also great, very great. Thumbs up for this one...
