Album Notes
This is the first-ever Christmas song from Lane Baldwin an internationally-acclaimed Blues singer, bassist and songwriter. He chose Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer because it was one of his favorite Christmas comedy songs growing up. For this version, Lane worked with California Bluegrass greats, The Abbott Brothers.

"I wanted to do something that was a bit different," Lane says, "both for the song, and for myself. When my producer Polo Jones suggested we work with The Abbott Brothers, I jumped at the chance."

Lane took a break while recording his upcoming CD, The View From Here, to record his first Christmas song. The track was recorded in a single session the day after Thanksgiving.

"I've wanted to do a Christmas song for decades," Lane says. "I really appreciate Polo's willingness to take a break from the CD so I could scratch this off my Bucket List."

The track features The Abbott Brothers:
Luke Abbott - Acoustic Guitar
Kyle Abbott - Mandolin
Mason Hutchinson - Upright Bass
