ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Hailing from Elberton, GA, Lara has always had a voice that would send chills up anyone's spine. Singing for the first time in public at the age of 10, it was obvious to her and others a career in music would be hers to pursue. While obtaining her Commercial Voice degree at Belmont University she recorded her first album, 2:00 a.m. an eclectic mix of new rhythm and blues. The album delivers everything from smooth jazz found on "Time" and the title track "2:00 a.m.", to the rocking sound of "Gasoline", to the down and dirty blues of "No More". However, there are some things that aren't so easily categorized like "Almost Gone" and "One Horse Town" which fall into what we call Americana Blues. Lara continues to work hard to make her dream a reality through live performances and an eye for the next album of new material. Stay tuned!
