Album Notes
The Good Morrow takes up where Larry's debut piano album Windows on the River left off. Full of peaceful passion, The Good Morrow is music for the quiet places of the soul. Larry's dream is for his piano vignettes to fulfill the same purpose that David's harp did in the Old Testament, driving darkness and demons from every listener so that peace wins the day. Or night.

Larry began his music career in the early 80’s as a songwriter, penning tunes-including a dozen top ten hits-for pop icons Glen Campbell and Frankie Valens as well as Christian artists Sandi Patty, Michael English, Avalon, Dallas Holm, Wayne Watson, Mark Lowry, Alicia Williamson, Sheila Walsh, Terri Gibbs, The Gaither Vocal Band, Babbie Mason, Scott Wesley Brown, Truth, Gary McSpadden, Lulu Roman and others.

He also worked with keyboardist Michael W. Smith and producer Joe Huffman to record two albums of his own, The Artist and Silent Movies, which led to an extensive concert schedule over the next ten years.

Larry and wife/co-writer Lesa both earned gold records for their song “Unto Us (Isaiah 9)” which was featured on Sandi Patty’s Grammy-winning album Another Time, Another Place. The song was performed at the lighting ceremony for NYC’s Rockefeller Center Christmas tree.

Larry was nominated for a Dove award for “Solid as the Rock”, a #1 hit, which he co-wrote with Geoff Thurman for Michael English’s debut album.

Problems with his voice forced him off the road in the mid-90’s, but Larry has returned to the studio to work on independent projects, including a series of solo piano albums.
