Larry Thomas, an actor most known for his portrayal of "The Soup Nazi" on "Seienfeld" has been acting, writing and signing for 40 years. After publishing his first single, "Nico's Song (With Out You) for his sit-com pilot, "Dads!" his wife, Angela Thomas Friis wondered if he could write a song for her. He set out to write a rock/jazz fusion tribute to his wife with the exuberance of his love for her. Being a writer and somewhat of a literary and history geek he paid tribute to his "Angel of mercy and Gemini twin" with lines of greek mythology, homage's to classic rock titles and an homage to the titles of "Friends" episodes (Angela's favorite show). He once again hired Stephen Costantino of Gamorrean Sound in North Hollywood to produce the song. He promised Angela to do some tap dancing on the recording and he wanted to include some accordion, the instrument played by Angela's late mother. Building it on a cool, jazzy bass track laid down by Vince Tividad they continued with guitar and accordion by Stephen, Vocals, tap and vibraphone by Larry, a hip back-up vocal by Ronna Jones and engineering by Paul Erickson, "It's Angela (The Wife I Choose)" was recorded along with an alternate version "It's Angela (The Mending Muse)" for Angela's web business The Mending Muse soon to be included on her website, https://themendingmuse.com/. So with a kind of "Stray Cat Strut" meets "Sunny Afternoon" style here it is.
