Two Streets

by Latehorse

A conversation between two former lovers and what could have been. Two Streets, there’s two sides to every story and two paths we can take. It’s about knowing when to stop, before chaos has the chance to spoil any beauty that is left.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Recorded in February 2018 at Real to Reel Studios in Bunbury WA, the foundation of the song arose from the protests of the Roe 8 Highway extension through the Beeliar Wetlands in 2017.

Shane Thomas, the man behind Latehorse said, “The majority of the damage was done along Hope Road and Progress Drive, which seemed such an ironic misfortune. This is where the line ‘Aint we lucky that there’s something left worth keeping’ was born” he said.

Latehorse runs with this metaphor in the song, describing a conversation between two former lovers and what could have been. “Two Streets, there’s two sides to every story and two paths we can take. It’s about knowing when to stop, before chaos has the chance to spoil any beauty that is left”, he said.

‘Two Streets’ is now available on itunes, spotify and all major download and streaming services. Check out www.latehorse.com for upcoming shows.
