Album Notes
Laura Mustard has played all over the Connecticut and Western Massachusetts music scenes. She is known for her engaging performances and blends percussive piano playing with emotive vocals. Her musical influences include such diverse performers as Sara Bareilles, Marvin Gaye, and Sam Cooke.

Mustard was the winner of the 2010 WoodSongs Singer/Songwriter Talent Contest at the University of Connecticut. She also served as songwriter, keyboard player, and singer in the folk-rock band Stillbridge, which played locally in New England and toured Colorado and West Virginia. In addition, Mustard was the drummer, contributing songwriter and back-up singer for the Massachusetts-based classic rock band, the SilverTone5.

A member of the Nashville Songwriters Association International, Mustard has enjoyed trips to Music City, where she has explored her songwriting further. In the summer of 2015 she made the jump and relocated to Tennessee! Since moving to Nashville, Mustard has played at the Bluebird Cafe, Jed's Sports Bar and Grill, and Cafe Coco. Notably, she played as a featured songwriter at the Hotel Indigo.

Mustard is expanding her sound by adding the dynamic textures of fiddle and banjo to her soulful songs. Her lyrics spin stories of self-discovery that'll ring true to all who've discovered contentment on riverbanks and railroad tracks, on the open road. Her debut EP, Ramble On, comes out March 4. Ramble On was produced and mixed by the talented Ben Bishop in his East Nashville studio. This EP features five powerful songs that have been honed and shaped over years of performance from Massachusetts to Colorado.

It's going really well.
