Album Notes
This album is a collection of 8 songs recorded live in one session on November 20, 2009 at Blue Light Digital Sound Studio in Mout Holly, NJ. Engineered by Matthew Bogacki, this is a select collection of Laura's original songs from both "To a Place" and "Bittersweet" with new arrangements. This live album also features two new, previously unreleased songs called "Bedroom Light" and "I Have My Hands," not available anywhere else! In addition to Laura's core band of Dominic Cole on acoustic and electric guitars, Andy McGowan on bass and Michael Litt on drums, this record features new band mates Laine Walker on violin, Mike McCarthy on trumpet and electric guitar and Karen Shay on percussion. Laura is known for her live performances, and this performance captures the raw intensity of Laura's incredibly personal music.

Great live album
Laura Shay's previous album, 'Bittersweet' is superb - great songs, excellent musicianship and ethereal vocals. This live concert has two from that album, three from her previous one (with a beautiful and sinister reinterpretation of 'Sin') and some new songs. The atmosphere is intimate, sound quality excellent, the band is first class and Laura's performances are sublime. It is that good!
