Album Notes
As the first wave of music she’s released since her 2012 debut album "Take Your Time", Laura Walsh dives deeper down the vein of her favorite track off the freshman record, "How Many Days" (music video available), pulling out music and lyrics from the depths of her identity.

In congruence to her first record, Walsh showcases her wide palette of influence with something for everyone emotionally, sonically and lyrically. In contrast, maturity and self-discovery in artistry and presence has transformed the sweetly innocent but strong brunette that once was into a vibrantly empowered and enlightened blonde with a new attitude.

Walsh defined in one song could, in fact, be the pop/rock/country single "Whiskey's Talking" - classic Carrie Underwood good girl with an adventurous Shania Twain alter ego. If your style of music is whatever gets your body moving that can transcend beyond one specific genre, "Whiskey's Talking" is for you. Good luck walking away from this song and not singing it to yourself hours later. PS: music video available!

Walsh's favorite song she's written thus far. Pulling from all corners of the wide palette of Walsh's musical influence, this song perfectly blends her love for catchy melodic riffs, chest-pounding thunderous bottom end, and classic punk rock power chords that make the empowering lyrics from her heart so easy to sing along with.

An irresistible invitation to say "yes" to love and (more poetically put) embrace the generational philosophy of YOLO. If you're looking for a song to belt out in the car or shower, take a listen to this tune - it won't take long for it to stick. Walsh shows off her pipes in a catchy, whimsical pop/country song that will leave you with good feelings in the tummy region.

Walsh has worn many hats during her career, but one role just as prominent as entertainer has been activist. "Flower" was written from the perspective of the victims of human trafficking with the intention to raise awareness and compel listeners to join the fight against modern-day slavery.

With a haunting vocal delivery and an arrangement building up to the climax of the raw emotion of the lyrics, "Flower" is a piece that beautifully braids together the heart of who Walsh is - a true artist with abilities to pull on the heartstrings of her audience through lyric and performance, and a genuine soul with a heart to help people.
