ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes

Lautark – the word, is a combination of the german ‘laut’ (adj. =loud) / ‘Laut’ (noun =tone, sound) and the german ‘autark’ (adj. =to be content/ sufficient in oneself) and ‘ark’ as in Noah’s Ark, so = “self-contented sounds for your ark.”

Lautark – the band is the present-day bilingual musical explorations of Johannes and Theodor, two guys from the greater Ahrensburg region NE of Hamburg, Germany who have been making music together for twenty years – often, and currently, across the waters of the Atlantic.
