Album Notes
Lazerhawk is a Sydney based Hyper-metal band that was founded by Ex-Norse Shredder Simon Stavresvski and ex Daemon Foetal Harvest Drummer Paul Ibbotson in 2011. The band's vision was to Write the fastest, tightest and most over the top, retarded power metal on planet using extreme technical death metal shred, drumming and tempo's.
Simon took on all shred duties while Paul decided to take on vocals with no idea what he was doing and had to learn from scratch due to having to end his drumming career because of injury, but would still remain the sole writer of all drum parts.
Over the top metal, inspired by bands like Nitro, Dragonforce, Judas priest , Nile and Immortal needed the solo's to match. After previously playing drums with him in Killrazer and Paul Dianno (ex-Iron Maiden), Paul requested the expertise of master shredder Jimmy Lardner Brown to join the ranks and lay down the epic solo's songs like this needed. He happily agreed.
In early 2015, Lazerhawk finally saw the release of their debut Album 'The Origin of Power.' The album was 100% recorded, mixed and mastered in house by the band themselves. Every step of the way was a self taught learning experience. The idea was to release a demo with the qualities of a first album to really establish their own unique sound, from the way they wrote, right down to the recording and mixing technique. The final product had to be something every member could be proud of, listen to and love themselves. The end result is what you hear and every member is proud of what the other has achieved.
Lazerhawk remains in the studio already working on their second album and has plans to hit the live circuit on the east coast of Australia in the near future.

Cheers From all the Menaces at Lazerhawk. \m/> < \m/
